Founed in 2004 by owner Jameson Smith. Smith has a wealth of experience both as a player and coach. Among them is serving as assistant coach for the Senior Clayton Stars AAU team, 2012 & 2013 coaching at the NBA's D-League Barkersfield Jam try-out camps. In addition, served as video coordinator at training camp and tryouts for the Rome Gladiators of the World Basketball Assocation and in 2003 he was an assistant to NBA standout Gerald Wilkins at Wilkins professional player training camp in Atlanta. He also worked as a recruiter, video coordinator and scout for the semi- pro Southern Exposure Basketball League. Assistant Coach with the Emory University Eagles basketball program from 2006-2008.
    He attended Jonesboro Sr. High playing for the basketball program his sophomore & junior year. Continuing his basketball career at Middle Georgia College and also played  two seasons of basketball at  Atlanta Technical College and paced the team in rebounding in those two camaigns. He played in the semi-professional leagues, Continental Basketball Association in the 2000 and in the Southern Exposure Basketball League / Global  Basketball Alliance from 2000 through 2003, United States Basketball League & NBA's National Basketball Development League from the Columbus RiverDragons.
